Agriculture, Environment, and Food Mark your calendars for November 6, 7, and 8—the dates for the most anticipated autumn event in the Valdarno area: Autumnia. This fair, dedicated to agriculture, food, and the environment, returns to the historic center of Figline for its 26th edition. While the footprint of the exhibition area remains the same—with a strong focus on safety—the program is packed with new features that the Municipality will reveal shortly. The 26th edition of Autumnia concluded with a positive outcome, reaffirming the event as one of the region’s most awaited gatherings focused on agriculture, the environment, and food. It saw a high turnout, a large number of exhibitors, and a program rich in meetings and activities that engaged both local residents and visitors from further afield. Looking ahead, the 27th edition will be themed “Local Tradition, European Perspective”—an invitation to draw upon the region’s roots and unique characteristics while engaging with a broader context, thereby highlighting local knowledge, products, and identity. In the lead-up to the event, the journey toward the next edition begins with “Waiting for Autumnia” (“Aspettando Autumnia”)—a series of initiatives centered on themes and activities that capture the spirit of the fair. It is a calendar full of discoveries, designed to engage the public as we approach the 27th edition of Autumnia. Admission: free By car: From the north, take the A1 motorway and exit at Incisa (approx. 8 km from the event), then follow the S.S. 69 road heading south. From the south, take the A1 motorway and exit at Valdarno (approx. 10 km from the event), then follow the S.S. 69 road heading north. By train: Figline Valdarno station is 27 minutes from Florence SMN and 35 minutes from Arezzo. Parking: Free parking for 3,000 cars is available in the squares adjacent to the historic center. Additional free parking for 1,000 cars is available at the Decathlon site. Shuttle bus: Departures from Via Comunità Europea, Piazza Don Minzoni, Via Da Verrazzano (ASL parking area), the Incisa train station, and the areas of Via Brodolini and Via Poggiolino.
